About

A small engineering team that builds and maintains business systems, and that would rather publish nothing than publish a number nobody can check.

Operating principles

  • Measure before changing. A problem that has been measured is usually not the problem that was reported.
  • Ship in small increments. A change you can review is a change you can reverse.
  • Record the reasoning. The next person to touch the system should not have to guess why it is this way.
  • State the limits. Every method has them, and a result without them cannot be judged.
  • Do not fabricate. No invented case studies, statistics, testimonials or local presence.

Who does the work

The people who scope a project are the people who build it. There is no account manager between you and the engineering, which means the person who hears the problem is the person who has to solve it.

We take on a small number of engagements at once. That is a deliberate constraint: it is the only way to give each one the attention that makes the difference between a system that works and one that has to be worked around.

What we do not publish

This site does not carry client testimonials, star ratings or a portfolio of results yet, because we have not collected the verifiable evidence for them. When real engagements complete and the client permits publication, those will appear with the evidence behind them.

We would rather have an honest, sparse site than a convincing one built on claims that dissolve under a question.
